There was a voice message on my answering machine from the city stating that this was a courtesy call regarding my utility bill. What should I do?
There are a couple of reasons the city may call. If our technicians notice a leak or if there is a line break, we may try to contact you so you are aware of the situation. If your meter needs to be changed or needs a new battery, it is possible that the city is trying to give you a courtesy call to let you know.

You need to call (309) 527-4005, or come in to our office at 125 West Front Street during our business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, to figure out what is wrong.
